Ilam Homestead and its magnificent grounds are a perfect setting for a wide variety of functions. These have included:

For cocktail parties or gatherings held in the downstairs area we can accommodate up to 130 guests. The dining room upstairs will hold up to 100 guests comfortably. Normally it is not economic to hold a catered function for less than 30 people.
The hire of the Homestead is $1000 (GST included), $1200 on public holidays, for a wedding and for other functions the charge is dependent on the number attending and the time and the length of function. In all cases the hire charge covers all bar staff costs and glassware. On confirmation a deposit of half the hire charge is required. A charge of $25 per barperson, per hour, will be charged if the event goes over the agreed time limit.
It is a condition of our license that the bar and music cease at midnight, and all out by 1am.
All functions are catered for by White Tie Catering who have exclusive rights to cater at the Homestead. As well as the many options they offer for weddings they are experienced in providing excellent menu choices for all types of functions.
We have a CD system that is operated from the bar and there are speakers in all rooms plus outside. There is a large and welcoming open fire in the bar lounge and a heat pump in the North Lounge. The Homestead has a smoke free policy.
